Alicia Montes originally form Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, arrived in Tucson, Arizona to work, contracted by the DIOCESE of Tucson for legal immigration services, before she transferred to Phoenix to work for the DIOCESE of Phoenix, AZ.
While working in Phoenix she obtained her certificate from the Department of US Immigration Appeals. She is currently authorized by the Supreme Court of Arizona as a Legal Document Preparer.
In 1979 Alicia opened her first office in the small community of Somerton, Arizona part of Yuma County, to assist clients with legal immigration services. In 1986 she opened her second office in San Luis, Arizona about 20 miles south of inner Yuma. Her services included legal document preparation, income taxes and notary public to name a few. In 2006, Alicia expanded her services by becoming a certified authorized 3rd party provider for the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), offering many new services such as vehicle registration renewals, title transfers, and as of May 2014 Driver’s License testing and identification cards.
Today, the family business now known as Montes Multiple Services or MMS operates 5 offices in Foothills, Yuma, Somerton, San Luis, Arizona and San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora, Mexico, with all of Alicia’s children helping manage each office.
